The role is varied and following a suitable period of training and development the individual will be involved in assisting with designs, discipline specific site surveys, production of tender, design and construction issue drawings for new build or refurbishment projects within existing properties such as schools, libraries, leisure centres, Council houses and all other public buildings. The role will sit within the M&E Capital Projects team and will entail working on a range of Mechanical, Electrical and Energy projects.

Some of the specific projects the individual will be involved in will include new heating, water services and ventilation systems. New electrical systems including, distribution systems, small power installations, fire alarm, intruder alarms, LED lighting and associated controls and schematics for Energy and Building Management related systems.

**The Individual**:
We are looking for someone who has a keen interest in the areas of Computer aided draughting design ideally relating to Energy, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and are looking for a career within the industry.Experience in using computer software packages such as AutoCAD, Sketch up, all Microsoft programmes such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint is desirable but not essential. It is anticipated that the person will be self-motivated and confident with excellent communication skills to establish good working relationships.
