Grade: C1

Responsible to: Vice Principal - Quality of Education

Purpose of role:
To address barriers to learning for targeted groups of individual students in order to enable them to achieve their full potential through academic and personal development.

Main duties:

- To tutor identified students in one to one and small group settings to support their progress.
- To liaise with teaching staff and other colleagues to ensure support is targeted appropriately.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in identified areas. Maintain clear communication with other colleagues.
- Where necessary, contribute to feeding back to parents.
- Any other duties commensurate with the post
- Special Conditions of Service
- No smoking policy

General Responsibilities
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, training and briefings as appropriate
- Be aware of, and comply with all Academy policies and procedures, in particular those relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection
- Contribute to the overall ethos, work and aims of the school.

**Salary**: From £18,053.00 per year
