**Assistant Branch Manager - Hampton**

You'll be working for Ceramic Tile Distributors (CTD) in Hampton. CTD is one of more than 30+ exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK and specialises in sourcing and supplying a vast range of high quality tile designs to all sectors of the interior and architecturalmarket. With over 50 years of experience, CTD is one of the leading names in the industry, striving to bring the latest advances in tile manufacturing to each individual collection as well as considering consumer demands, from the desirability of classic designstyles to the latest cutting-edge trends.

It is also important that you have strong communication skills and commercial awareness, whilst being able to empower your team to provide a great service to your customers.
- Experience in a Tile Merchant would be preferred but is not essential
- A customer-focused approach and the ability to develop and maintain excellent relationship with customers and suppliers
- Strong leadership and people management skills - the ability to engage colleagues to help achieve the branch goals whilst ensuring all health and safety standards are upheld
- A positive attitude and the desire to want to continually improve our service
- The ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
- Excellent business acumen and commercial understanding - the ability to understand Sales and Margin data
- The ability to evolve in a fast-paced and ever-changing busy work environment
- A full driving license, training will be provided for Forklift truck licence

**What will I be doing in the role?**
Our Assistant Branch Managers are important contributor to the team's shared success our success and an essential part of our customer's positive experience with us. It demands someone who can manage and lead a team of engaged colleagues to continually improvethe customer experience and branch performance. To support our customers effectively you will;
- Ensuring all branch activity is centered around the customer and ensuring they have the best possible experience
- Assisting the Branch Manager with the management and leadership of a team of colleagues
- Helping forming and execute the Sales plan for the branch
- Ensuring the safe and efficient management of daily operations
- Experience of working in a Senior sales role, with a curious and proactive approach and the ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers and suppliers
