**JOB TITLE**:PIA Manager (Telecommunications)
**LOCATION**:Exeter with hybrid working option
**SALARY**: Up to £40,000 plus bonus
**HOURS**: 40 hrs per week

**THE ROLE**: The key focus of this role is to ensure all PIA processes are adhered to, this includes implementing the Product Description, Engineering Principles and Customer Service Plan to internal and external parties whereapplicable. Manage a team of PIA Co-ordinators and Seniors to ensure all individuals are competent with desk based PIA processes and develop their understanding of the PIA Product Description. You will also be responsible for managing the PIA Compliance team,ensuring the quality of the network built is to the highest standard. It is paramount to enhance and develop relationships with internal and external parties which will involve regular online and face to face meetings. The PIA team must achieve the departmentalmonthly goals, grow with the company and enhance system changes in response to PIA product enhancements.
**DUTIES INCLUDE**:
- Champion all PIA products, Engineering Principles and contractual commitments
- Ensure PIA compliance is upheld to the highest standards
- Commercial ownership for all build under the PIA remit, ensuring build costs are not exceeded
- Responsible for people management which includes recruitment and conducting frequent check ins, PDR's and Annual Appraisals
- Provide direction and support to the Senior PIA Co-ordinators and the Senior PIA Compliance Engineer
- Ensure the teams are motivated, challenged and empowered
- Enhance relationships with internal and external parties
- Plan, manage, coordinate and execute all PIA processes to ensure deadlines are achieved
- Evaluate current strategy and identify weaknesses
- Continually work with Developers to future proof processes and system functionalities to ensure high delivery standards are maintained
- Provide reporting to the wider Management team
- Promoting improvements in Safety in line with the objectives
- Accountability for budgeting and forecasting
- Monthly bill reporting and investigations
- Handling of legal claims
- Any ad hoc duties requested by the Head of Build Support Services
**THE PERSON**:
- Proficient knowledge of PIA (including the Product Description, Engineering Principles & CSP)
- 2+ years of administration experience
- Strong leadership capabilities and experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Confident and proficient with technology
- Excellent team work and leadership skills
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Previous experience at Supervisory level
- Clear understanding of operational delivery in a commercially focused business environment and timely delivery of customer requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent people skills and telephone manner
- Ability to oversee projects with strict deadlines
- Aptitude to motivate, challenge and support a team
- Detail oriented and analytical
- Thrives in a multi-tasking environment and can adjust priorities on-the-fly
