We have an exciting opportunity for a
**Group Facilitator** to join our treatment team at
**Bransholme Alcohol Hub**. The role of a Group Facilitator is to work with service users in a group setting and to facilitate structured groups to service users at all stages of treatment.
- You will be expected to offer support in a group setting as part of a structured programme.
- You will work dynamically with other members of the alcohol team to be able to support service users within their treatment.
- You will assist service users in achieving goals that could lead to an improvement in their quality of life
- You will use a variety of motivation and risk management tools.
- You will be responsible for recording this information on our digital database.

Where: Hull
Hours: 37.5hrs per week
**Salary**: CGL Scale 23 - 28 - £26,393.77 - £30,316.74 dependent on experience
**Responsibilities**:
**About the role**:
- Engage with debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitator/s after groups/pods have taken place
- Lead on graduation events for service users who have completed the programme
- Review service user feedback and make adjustments as necessary
- Tailor specific workshops around the needs of the SUs, such as: anger management, sleep disorders, relationships, etc
- Research and confirm community venues as needed
**About you**:
- Experience of working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics, such as conflict or challenging behaviour
- Experience of Motivational Interviewing and Psycho Social Interventions
- Ability to identify the specific needs of groups
- Understanding of evidence based interventions in a group work setting (desirable)
- Qualification in counselling, group-work or equivalent (desirable)
- Experience of working with psychological trauma (desirable)
