Peartree Pharmacy require a full-time qualified pharmacy assistant to work in our busy pharmacy in Welwyn Garden City.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Deliver a quality retail service to ensure customer expectations are met
- Complete pharmacy operational requirements by organising and directing work flow, verifying order entries, charges and inspections (such as date checking)
- Removing outdated and damaged medications from pharmacy inventory and completing appropriate paperwork
- Ensure compliance with ethical, professional and legal pharmacy standards at all times adhering to standard operating procedures
- Advising management on needed actions
- Keep up to date with regulatory and statutory requirements within the pharmacy
- Take appropriate actions to understand the local market and monitor patient requirements
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- To undergo appraisal process annually with appropriate reviews throughout the year

**Qualifications and Skills**

A relevent NVQ qualification from the NPA or Buttercups in pharmacy related course and experience in working in a busy pharmacy environment. You must have attention to detail and an ability to learn quickly, self-confident and independent. You must have worked in a busy dispensary in the past and previous experience of Analyst PMR as well as EPS is an advantage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
