They are a charitable organisation, and its objectives are for the advancementof education, research and public dissemination of knowledge. With more than 800 approved centres, VTCT has an ever-expanding list of centres throughout the UK and Ireland, with increasing international presence.

As a part of an ambitious growth strategy, VTCT has recently acquired the awarding organisation Skillsfirst Awards and hence they are now looking for a highly experienced **_Senior Project Manager_**. The prime focus on this role is to lead an efficient and effective integration of Skillsfirst Awards into the VTCT Group including people, processes and systems.

**_Senior Project Manager_**, the role:

- Building effective and collaborative relationships with stakeholders across VTCT and Skillsfirst Awards
- Managing budgets associated with projects across the organisation
- Working with the CLT to identify the scope, finance, risk, quality and resources required to successfully deliver various key projects across the business
- Providing project management guidance and advice to managers and supporting and challenging managers to deliver projects to agreed timescales and success criteria
- Co-ordinating and collating regular project reports and updates
- identifying risks and opportunities
- Maintaining focus and drive to key projects to ensure timely and successful delivery
- Carrying out research and delivery of projects identified by the Deputy CEO and CLT
- Supporting and coordinating overall, day-to-day responsibilities of the task force teams

**_Senior Project Manager_**, the applicant:

- Comprehensive understanding of project management in the context of business integration
- Sound knowledge of best practice and industry trends in programme management
- Capable of using project management tools and techniques
- Strong communication skills and a track record of working supportively and collaboratively to achieve results
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to quickly grasp the key details in a range of business areas
- Self-managing and working virtually, embracing digital technologies to support effective management
- Good negotiation, influencing and motivational skills
