**We are looking for a Warranty Validation Technician to join our warranty team to support our customers. Within this role you will asses warranty tickets and identify optimal repair method, keeping the customer journey in mind to ensure a faff free service. Additionally you will communicate with customers to further understand issues they are experiencing, help them resolve over the phone if possible, or arrange a repair through our on site repair facilities, mobile repair vans or with one of our trusted partners.**

Shift: Monday-Friday

**Salary**: £28,500.00 per annum

**What you’ll be doing.**
- Technical review of all warranty repair claims to identify the optimal repair route.
- Contact customers to understand the symptoms of their issue in order to ascertain the root cause and identify where repair booking should be made.
- Educate customers in common faults, issues or user error.
- Make bookings for customers through our mobile repair services or within our 3rd party network.
- Identify parts required and begin the ordering process for mobile & site repairs.
- Responsible for authorising work within the 3rd party network and ensuring repairers are not overworking vehicles.
- Support the target to protect site resource capacity by ensuring all possible mobile/ 3rd party/ remote repairs are not booked to site.

**Who you are.**
- Mechanical Knowledge (required)
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor (preferred)
- Great interpersonal skills
- Competent PC user familiar with MS Office
- Zendesk experience is beneficial but not required
