**Graduate Sales Executive** - **International Water Industry** **Location**: Oxford OX1 1XX (hybrid working option available) **Salary**: £23,000 - £25,000 per year, dependent on experience (with a 6-month probationary period) **Commission**: Uncapped **Contract**: Full time, Permanent, 09:00-17:30, Monday to Friday (flexible hours to account for time zone requirements) **Overview** Due to continued growth and expansion, GWI is recruiting for an ambitious Graduate Sales Executive who wants to grow fast in an entrepreneurial environment. Global Water Intelligence (GWI) is an ambitious company with around 70 employees based in Oxford, Austin (Texas) and Shanghai (China). We publish market leading magazines, databases, and reports on the international water industry. Additionally, we run a seriesof successful events. The Graduate Sales Executive will be initially working on the publishing side of the business, focusing on supporting our highly successful sales team selling databases (such as GWI WaterData & GWI DesalData), subscription publications (GWI Magazine) and industryspecific network platforms (UltraPure Micro). You will contribute to GWI’s growth and expansion by increasing market share and profitability for each of the company's products. While simultaneously helping our customers by providing high level intelligence that enables them to make the most informed strategicdecisions for their business. The successful **Graduate Sales Executive** will have: - Good verbal and written communications skills - Professional attitude and excellent telephone communication skills - Strong customer service and listening skills - Good computer literacy skills - Be enthusiastic and dependable - Effective time management **Responsibilities** As a Graduate Sales Executive at GWI, your responsibilities will include: - Identifying and validating leads - Researching target companies and identifying key individuals - Making outbound calls to new and existing clients - Explaining and understanding products and services - Performing administrative duties - Developing the ability to suggest other products in our portfolio by listening to our clients In this role, you will gain experience in handling business-critical tasks across the new business and accounts teams, including new sales, general account administration, and prospecting new clients from lead lists. This is a role that has several different routes for progression within the company.
