The Birmingham community support team provides floating support to a wonderful and diverse selection of customers offering them individualised support packages to help them live independently and with dignity. We are currently recruiting for a Community Support Worker to work 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday).

**Where are we based**

We work across Birmingham in the community with this role providing floating support to our customers.

**No two days are the same.**

As a Community Support Worker, you will help individuals with:

- Access to Leisure activities.
- Accessing local services
- Staying well.
- Attaining and maintaining housing.
- Supporting them into employment.
- Supporting with life skills such as shopping or paying bills.
- Attending appointments and more.

**This role is community based so would require access and use of a vehicle to travel between customers.**

**Vetting Requirements**

Naturally working with our customers we need to complete pre-employment checks before you join us. This role is conditional upon receipt of two satisfactory references (one from your current employer). We also need you to tell us what you have been up to as a minimum over the past 5 years in terms of employment history. This could include carer duties, travel, seeking work, education, employment, training, or volunteering.
