**Outreach and Engagement Coordinator**
This is an exciting opportunity to join The Cares Family - whose purpose is to help people find connection and community in a disconnected age.
**The role**:
This role within South London Cares will get you involved in working closely with our dedicated team to develop, deepen and expand our outreach programme and the engagement of our community of neighbours in Southwark and Lambeth. You will lead, plan and deliver outreach in the community, overseeing the sign up and induction process and communicating with older and younger neighbours. You will be responsible for building and maintaining effective community partnerships, including presenting to potential partners and creating powerful communications.
**About you**:
We are looking for an approachable, proactive and confident individual to join our team. To be successful in this role you will be passionate about our mission and enthusiastic about working in our fast-paced organisation. You will need to be able to build a rapport with a wide range of people as well as having strong organisational skills and being able to manage several projects at once.
**What we offer**:
This is a full time, permanent position (occasional weekend and evening work required). You will receive a salary of £28,000 per year, and benefits include 29 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a flexible working policy and a staff welfare programme.
