**What are we looking for?**

The Finance Assistant is a key role to ensure seamless financial administration, timely transaction processing, and reliable support for maintaining the financial health of the company. The Finance Assistant will successfully process payments to our suppliers and creators in a timely manner, submit invoices and chase any overdue payments to ensure cash flows as it should. Implementing improvement of internal controls ensuring seamless transactions for internal and external payments. Recording all transactions accurately to ensure smooth closures at month end.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Management of aged receivables including billing and debt chasing
- Management of aged payables including coding and processing invoices
- Processing the weekly payment runs (Creators and OPEX)
- Ensure all relevant commercial and financial software is accurately updated
- Bank posting
- Identify areas of weakness and suggest improvements
- Assist with annual audit and associated schedules
- Ad hoc projects to scale and automate processes

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in Accounts payable & receivable is a must
- Previous experience in Xero
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication.
- Intermediate Spreadsheet experience
