**Job Role**:Brickwork Lecturer (Wet Trades)**

**Hours**: 35 hours per week

**Contract Type**: Permanent

**Role responsibilities**
- To carry out formal scheduled teaching.
- To act as a personal tutor to a group/s of students.
- To prepare learning materials and students ’ assignments.
- To mark students ’ work and examinations, moderation and verification.
- To assist and operate as part of a team in the monitoring, reviewing and evaluation of all aspects of the programme(s).

**The person & qualifications**
- Level 2 or above English/literacy qualification.
- Level 2 or above Maths/numeracy qualification.
- Level 3 qualification in Brickwork.
- Recognised full teaching qualification, if the applicant does not possess a full teaching qualification he/she must undertake to successfully complete a level 5 teaching award or equivalent within an agreed timeframe
