Weekend Driver/sales Assistant for Markets

Bakery Andante is a small award winning bakery originally based in Morningside, with a production facility in Leith, and cafe/shop in Broughton Street. We will also attend regular farmers markets.
Andante is a musical expression meaning ‘at a slower tempo’, which perfectly describes how we think bread should be made. Our products are made from scratch (starting from basic ingredients) on our premises. Our range includes 7 sourdough breads, a variety of flavoured and tin breads, as well as some great pastries, cakes and biscuits, all made with no additives, enhancers or improvers.
We attend a number of Farmers Markets over the year ranging from East Lothian to Cupar and Stirling and we need a fantastic salesperson, with a driving licence (UK, held at least a year), to help us with these markets. After training, generally you'll work Saturdays and or Sundays.
Starting at our Leith bakery at 7am on Saturdays, or 9am on Sundays, you'll help pack the breads and market kits in to our van, drive to the markets, set up and sell our a fantastic range of breads, pastries and cakes to our regular and new customers, providing the very best in customer service. And then pack up and return to Leith at the end of the market. You'll generally work with another member of our staff, as markets can be very busy. The markets are regular and we can provide a weekend off a month if need be. Additional weekday shifts in our shop or at our regular Castle Street Market are also available if wished.

you are hard working, flexible and enjoy getting stuck in;
you can work well with our fantastic customers and existing colleagues;
you are available Saturdays most weekends, and some Sundays;
you have a UK driving licence held for over 1 year

Experience not essential, but a love of good food is.
**Job Types**: Permanent, Part-time
**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
Expected hours: 6 - 14 per week
