Shunter Driver

We are looking for a Shunter Driver / Despatch Operator to join the team and play a vital role in achieving the business goals of our Packaging division, which produces corrugated packaging solutions for a range of customers in the FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Electronics and Industrial sectors.

Working as part of the team responsible for the preparation, storing and loading of finished product in line with customer (internal or external) requirements, you will be responsible for the safe movement of materials, ensuring you meet productivity and performance targets, which include quality, waste, and customer service.

Key tasks:

- The safe movement of trailers around yard and warehouses
- Preparing trailers ready for loading of product
- Checking and recording what is loaded on trailers at the beginning of the shift
- Strapping products on to the trailer
- Any other task associated with Despatch Operations in line with business needs and for which training has been received. Tasks may include but are not limited to providing support to Loading / offloading, FLT and Palletiser.

Preferred requirements:

- Category C+E licence
- Experience working in a production/machine operating environment
- Counter-Balance and/or Reach FLT licence
- Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage
