**Market Surveillance Strategy and Optimisation Manager**
**London**

As a Barclays Market Surveillance Strategy and Optimisation Manager, you will lead, coordinate and support the ongoing development of an effective, efficient and comprehensive Market Surveillance programme within Barclays. You will focus primarily on Trade and Control Room Surveillance Optimisation, although there will be opportunities for projects and development across the full range of Surveillance.

**What**
**will you be doing?**:

- Ensuring the Surveillance engine is working effectively and efficiently
- Assisting Senior Surveillance Leadership in determining go forward Surveillance strategic risk-based coverage model in the region
- Maintaining solid relationships with key stakeholders in the organization (Business Oversight Compliance, Technology, Markets Risk and Control, etc.)
- Producing accurate and relevant Management Information (MI) on a regular basis to Senior Management
- Exuding Barclays and Compliance Behavioural values in conducting activities with team members and within the scope of interactions with key stakeholders

**What we’re looking for**:

- Experience working with investigations/ findings/ model redesign/ data analytics
- Good communication skills, ability to interact and work with key stakeholders
- Ability to quickly understand and interchange with a variety of other product and technical areas

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Appropriate university degree
- Regulatory or Compliance experience in either 1LOD or 2LOD
- Experience of data analytics
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task multiple priorities
