Shift Team Leader

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Shift Team Leader to join our clients state of the art Energy from Waste Industry. As a Shift Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of operators to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant during your designated shift.

Shift Team Leader - Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise a team of operators to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant during your shift
- Monitor plant performance and ensure that all equipment is working effectively
- Conduct regular inspections of the plant and identify any maintenance requirements
- Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure that the plant is operating at peak efficiency
- Ensure that all operational and safety procedures are followed by the team
- Work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure smooth handovers between shifts
- Participate in training and development programs for the team

Shift Team Leader - Requirements:

- Experience working in the Energy from Waste Industry or a similar heavy industrial environment
- Experience managing a team of operators
- Strong understanding of plant operations and process control systems
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £52,500.00-£57,000.00 per hour
