Wood Machinist

**Job Criteria**:

- Minimum of 5 years experience using woodwork machines (both modern and traditional) on a production line, working within a manufacturing environment.
- Fork Lift Truck Licence would be an advantageous.

**Job Duties**:

- Operation of various machinery including CNC, beamsaw, edgebander, panel saw and spindle moulder.
- Beamsaw - ability to work from cutting sheets.
- Edgebander - ability to read cutting sheets and use curved edgebander.
- CNC machinery flat-bed, pod, rail and upright - ability to read drawings, change tooling, adjust programs from screen and problem solve work as and when required.
- Responsible for machine performance, including inspections and quality checks
- Cleaning and maintaining work areas and machinery.
- Ensuring all Company Policies and Procedures are adhered to.
- Training will be provided where necessary.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
