**The Job**:
The role will report directly to the Production Manager, within this role you will be leading a small team of 2 whilst remaining hands on to receive, issue, dispatch and record all material & goods movements to the production shop floor and finished goods outto the customer.

**Day to day responsibilities include**:

- Co-ordinating a small stores team to ensure the smooth supply of goods to the production shop floor and customers
- Responsible for maintenance of stock and traceability of records
- Receive goods in, inspect and receive on to system
- Undertaking regular stock checks
- Despatching of goods
- Ensuring that completed orders are accurate, well packaged, labelled and delivered according to the agreed delivery date and destiny
- Getting the best out of a small team and instilling good time management
- Material storage and handling
- Commitment to health and safety
- Identify and report any hazards or risks
- Ensure all factory waste is disposed of correctly

**The Person**:

- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and daily running
- Experience in stock controlling and managing a small team
- Reach truck licence (Desirable)
- Counterbalance truck licence (Desirable)
- Strong focus on health & safety and good housekeeping practices
- Good attention to detail, and excellent team player
- Numerate, literate, and accurate with strong IT skills
- Flexible and hardworking with excellent time management

**The Salary**: £26,665 per annum
**The Hours**:Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm & Friday 8am - 2pm (40 hour week)
**The Benefits**:25 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday, a match contributory pension.
