**Senior Medical Writer Role**

As a Senior Medical Writer, you have the chance to develop and flourish in the role. Your contributions will involve:

- Researching and writing audience-appropriate scientific/medical content
- Building strong client relationships
- Coaching and mentoring junior Medical Writers
- Working collaboratively with Scientific Directors, Editors and Instructional Designers to receive feedback and ensure content is valuable, well written and accurate.
- Building strong relationships internally with the internal account team and members from other divisions to develop scientific content and strategy.

**Senior Medical Writer Essential Experience**
- A higher degree in Life sciences or Pharmacology (MSc, PharmD, PhD, MD)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Medical Writer/Senior Medical Writer (pharmaceutical, medical device, and/or biotechnology writing experience
- Proficient at conducting literature searches in PubMed
- Ability to handle multiple projects, tasks, priorities and deadlines
- High levels of self-motivation and the ability to work independently and in a team
- Skills in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to distil complex scientific information and terminology for all audiences using text, audio and complementary images.
