**About The Role**:
Are you a passionate Health and Safety professional, who wants to be a positive influence on your colleagues to transform health and safety across the business.

As part of a team the Group Health and Safety advisor is a key influencer who supports and assists the business areas and key stakeholders, to help to continually improve health and safety standards and performance, helping us all to go home safe each day. This role reports directly to the Group Head of Health and Safety.

**About Your Role**
- Provide expertise, support and advice on all health, safety, matters.
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of Company safety management system ensuring alignment with statutory requirements and industry standards.
- Plan, participate in and implement projects and activities to improve safety.
- Undertake internal health and safety audits, to verify compliance and raise corrective actions where required.
- Collate, analyse, and utilise leading and lagging safety data using proprietary software
- Undertake & assist with incident, near miss, investigations in accordance with Company processes.
- The role is head office based with travel to sites where required and occasional overnight stay.

**We're Looking For**
- Hold the NEBOSH National Certificate in Health & Safety or equivalent
- Proven experience in a health and safety advisory role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for positive and professional communication to influence colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- Work effectively within a team with the ability to work independently,
- Use own initiative to plan and manage workloads.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to use data as part of the decision-making process
- Membership of IOSH (desirable)
- A full driving license.
