Roofer/laborer

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Install and repair roofs using various materials such as shingles, metal, and tiles.
- Assist in the preparation of job sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively, including saws, drills, and hammers.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
- Perform masonry tasks as required, including bricklaying and concrete work.
- Fabricate components as needed for roofing systems or repairs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times on site.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in roofing or general construction is essential.
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and masonry techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints is advantageous.
- Experience in welding is a plus but not mandatory.
- A background in carpentry or related fields will be considered an asset.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials are required.

Pay: £100.00-£150.00 per day
