**Data Consultant**

£50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus (circa 25%) + Company Benefits

**The Company**

My client, one of the UK's leading financial services companies, who have won multiple awards for being an exceptional place to work. They are looking for a Data Consultant to join their exciting and supportive Pricing Data Management team.

**The Role**

As a Data Consultant, you will help develop the data capabilities of Pricing to enable the effective management of pricing strategy and optimise the supply and use of MI. Their Pricing Data Team was formed to provide the required expertise and responsiveness from within the department. The team now needs to build capabilities further to deliver on an exciting and demanding vision of data driven enablement within this data driven part of the business.

**Key Responsibilities/Experience
- You will need to deliver complex ad hoc data analysis and will monitor and report on data trends, making recommendations and managing activity to continuously improve data quality.
- They are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible professional, who will be an experienced Data Specialist with great attention to detail.
- You will be to have strong communication skills who can forge and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with the ability to negotiate and influence others.
- It is preferable if you have leadership experience in at least one area of data management best practice (e.g. data engineering, assurance, design and build of data & reporting) including a track record of successful delivery
- Effective translation of business need into data specifications and solutions
- Be proficient with numeracy, analysis and problem solving
- Have experience of managing, coaching, and mentoring more junior colleagues
- Can work independently and collaborate successfully.
- SQL Stack (advanced): SSMS, T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS (multi-dimensional & tabular)
- Have experience with using Power BI or similar experience of using other reporting and visualisation tools
- It is desirable if you have MS Azure experience
