**Position: Youth Support Worker**

**Who We’re Looking For**
We are seeking confident, capable, and compassionate individuals with a strong commitment to safeguarding and a genuine passion for supporting Children Looked After and Care Leavers. You will be skilled and experienced, with the qualifications necessary to deliver exceptional care and support.
- Proven experience working with vulnerable young people, including a track record in safeguarding and promoting well-being.
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care, youth work, or a related field.
- Skills in supporting young people to develop independence, manage challenges, and build confidence.
- Energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to build trusting relationships that inspire young people to achieve their goals.

**Your Role**
As a Youth Support Worker, you will:

- Provide tailored, high-quality support to young people, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
- Deliver structured key work sessions, focusing on life skills, independence, and well-being.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment, in line with safeguarding protocols and Ofsted Quality Standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, local authorities, and external agencies to achieve the best outcomes for young people.
- Model positive behaviour and boundaries while building strong, meaningful relationships.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Youth Work: 1 year (preferred)
- Children Looked After: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Enhanced Child and Adult DBS Certificate (preferred)
