**About the Packhouse Supervisor job**

The purpose of your role will be to ensure that all products are packed effectively in accordance with the customer specifications, supervise staff, monitor, and enhance their performance and provide support to the Shift Manager and the Packhouse Manager.

Key tasks:

- Maintain quality service by enforcing company standards and procedures.
- Key point of contact for the Quality Controllers regarding product quality.
- Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel.
- Ensure all packaging and labelling is correct before starting a production run.
- Organise and monitor workflow and ensuring pre-job checks are complete.
- Ensure the lines are set up correctly before production commences.
- Monitor staff performance and coach to improve performance.
- Ensure product and packaging traceability is maintained.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing established policies and procedures.

**Skills & experience required for the Packhouse Supervisor job**
- Experience of working in a food or beverage production, warehouse, packhouse or similar environment.
- Ideally have a background in supervising/managing production or packing staff.
- A background in working with fresh produce is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, organisation, and time and priority management skills.
- A driving licence and own transport are essential due to site location.

The Packhouse Supervisor job is based in Kent and is paying £24,000 - £26,000 according to your experience plus a customer productivity bonus.

The working hours are 4 on, 4 off, 8 am to 8 pm.
