**What will I be doing?**

The role involves PAT testing Stereos, T.Vs, Kitchen equipment and small household electricals always ensuring good quality control and accurate paperwork is kept for Health and Safety reasons

**Where will I be based?**

You will be based at Forget Me Not Shop, 36 Oldham Road, Royton, OL2 5PE

**Who will show me what to do?**

Our fantastic Trading Team will show you the ropes and give you all the support you need to get the most value from your time.

**How many hours will I work?**

Any time you can donate is brilliant; ideally we ask you commit to ½ day each week or a full day if you are available.

**Do I need any skills/experience?**

You will need to have experience in PAT testing, the items will be sold in our shops and make money for Forget Me Not.

Travel expenses will be paid in line with the Volunteer Expenses Policy.

Previous experience required and a Pat certificate required as proof.

All our volunteers are encouraged to attend training and volunteer meetings whenever possible.

As a volunteer you will be a representative of Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice. As such we expect you to be well presented, polite and to give a positive message about the work of the charity.

**Salary**: From £0.01 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
