**Contract Type**: Fixed Term

**Location**: Homebased (with ad-hoc travel)

**Working Hours**: 37.5 hours per week (8:00-4:30pm)

Here at VIVO we are looking for a new Finance Assistant to work under the Purchase to Pay manager to provide administrative support to the Commercial Team on all commercial matters, relating to service delivery and the commercial expectations of the business.

**You will be responsible for**:
Processing subcontract and vendor invoices.
Maintaining and following core contract commercial/finance processes, controls, and documents.
Liaising with SME’s/Supply Chain over queries.
Supporting the team with any ah-hoc P2P related task as and required by the business.
Answering queries efficiently and effectively both internal and vendors.
Preparation and maintenance of reports as required by Commercial Team/Finance team.
Maintaining electronic filing systems and periodic archiving.
Providing administrative support as required by line manager.

What you’ll need to do this role

Use of SAP/Maximo/Guided buying systems is desirable.

Educated to NVQ Level 2 standard or equivalent experiential experience.

Demonstrable experience of P2P.

Experienced in data processing, typing and general administrative duties.

Good understanding of administrative practices utilising MS Office Systems in particular Excel and Outlook.

Experience in processing payments to supply chain.

General office experience in a commercial environment.

Adept with continuous improvement tools and techniques.

It is desirable that you have experience of operating within an MOD environment and have familiarity with geography and establishments within area of responsibility

You must be able to pass BPSS Clearance to be considered for this role.
