Automated Machine Welder

Our client based in New Milton has an immediate requirement for an experienced Automated Machine Welder to join their busy manufacturing team on a permanent basis.
Main purpose of job role:
To undertake the manufacturing activities associated to machine welding to the required specified quality standards via the use of area equipment whilst ensuring all company and Health and Safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
To liaise with the designated area leading hand and colleagues in all production related matters including but not limited to:
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Adherence to documented process controls at all times.
- To operate machinery effectively to ensure conformity of product to company quality requirements.
- To assemble product effectively to ensure conformity of product to company quality requirements.
- To ensure a positive and methodical approach is taken to all manufacturing tasks within the area.
- An attitude of flexibility and willingness in relation to the training aspects present within the role.
- To work well within a team-orientated environment but also display the ability to be self-sufficient as required.
- General tidiness and cleanliness.
- A general understanding of engineering drawings and the ability to work to them.
- Operating Semi and Automated Tig welding machines and their production line to achieve daily run rate targets.
- Some pre-weld preparation work such as pack preparation and sheet metal fabrication this will entail the use of both hand tools and sheet metal machinery (guillotines, rolls, benders, and fly presses).
- Bubble testing of finished elements.
Core working hours will be:
Mon - Thurs 07:30 am - 16:30 pm
Fri 07:30 am - 12:30 pm
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £11.75 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- New Milton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Fabrication: 1 year (preferred)
