Mōrena Coffee is a Speciality Coffee organisation focusing on providing quality coffee to the Event, Market and Festival scene

We pride ourselves on quality, service, knowledge and commitment and are seeking for someone to join our team not only to be another number but to be a part of the growing family

This is a fun job, you will get to attend some great festivals around London and the UK. You will get to meet some amazing people and rub shoulders with Artists. Camping will be permitted at some of these locations as well as enjoyment, we like to ensure our staff enjoy their job on and off shift. There will be some incentives with camp site events such as meal allowance and travels costs - tents including bedding will be provided by us

**ABOUT THE JOB**

Mōrena Coffee have 3 mobile vans Including a counter setup, we are looking for someone with experience working within the events industry. Barista experience is a must, also you will be required to take on roles that are not barista related as there are plenty of it
- Minimum L2 Food hygiene Certification required
- Drivers license is preferred but not necessary
- Knowledge on how to dial and extract coffee is crucial

**WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS A MUST**

We operate at markets and festivals over the weekend this will include working Saturday and Sunday, some of our locations are below
- Clapham
- Portobello
- Fulham

Freelance/Contractors pay rate £14 p/h - invoiced weekly

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages to customers
- know how to dial in Coffee using scales and dosages
- Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service
- Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment
- Setup coffee station, this may include erecting gazebos and other coffee related jobs which include some manual labour
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Manage your own site and ensure standard is kept high

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred, but not required
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and order processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques
