Pr Coordinator

We are seeking a creative **Public Relations Coordinator** with a strong background in **graphic design** to join our team. This hybrid role requires a strategic communicator who can craft compelling narratives, manage media relations, and enhance brand visibility — while also designing eye-catching visuals that support PR campaigns, marketing materials, and social media efforts.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Public Relations**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies to enhance the company’s brand and public image.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and stakeholders.
- Write and distribute press releases, media kits, speeches, and other PR materials.
- Coordinate interviews, press events, and media opportunities.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends; prepare regular PR reports and media analysis.
- Manage crisis communication efforts, ensuring timely and effective messaging.

**Graphic Design**:

- Design branded materials including brochures, newsletters, event signage, and digital ads.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all visual content.
- Use design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma) to produce high-quality graphics under tight deadlines.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field.
- Extensive experience in PR, with demonstrable graphic design skills.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong eye for visual composition and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience with social media management and content creation is a plus.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in private higher education.
- Familiarity with video editing tools and/or animation (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Strong portfolio showcasing both PR campaigns and graphic design work.

Shift Pattern: includes evening and weekends.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00 per year
