Talent Development Manager - Permanent

Contract: Permanent
Salary/Benefits: £45,000 - £55,000 + company car
Location: West Midlands - hybrid, with national travel

We are currently looking for a dynamic Talent Development Manager to join a multi-national company on a permanent basis. You will be based from the West Midlands, Warwickshire and the role requires national travel regularly.

You will be responsible for creating and delivering a talent management programme to develop the skills of existing colleagues and to support in the recruitment of new talent.

Responsibilities of the Talent Development Manager:

- Analyse current capability/skills gaps
- Develop, document and deliver Talent Management Programmes from the ground up, as appropriate
- Partner with the relevant departmental managers to coordinate, communicate and execute learning programs that drive internal talent development
- Facilitate talent development programs, either face-to-face or virtually
- Collaborate with leaders across the business to develop their team members as appropriate
- Contribute to the design and implementation of programmes and key people initiatives that reinforce a high performing culture, e.g. performance and talent management, reward and recognition, employee engagement.
- Create, implement and execute evaluation plans for all talent programs owned
- Collaborate with leaders across the business to develop succession plans
- Support with the Company's various apprenticeship programmes.
- Ensure Line Managers/General Managers are clear on the skills and experience required when recruiting into roles

Skills required for the Talent Development Manager
- Experience in the development of training programmes
- Strong effective communicator in writing, business presentations and in interpersonal communication.
- Experience in delivering in-person and virtual training
