**Location**: Hybrid working (based in Yorkshire).
Altum Consulting are recruiting for an Interim Payroll Process Consultant - Workday. Our client is a £1.8bn T.O private equity backed business that is highly acquisitive and growing fast.
As part of a wider Workday ERP implementation the organisation has also adopted an 'off the shelf’ Workday payroll module. This a complex, multi-faceted organisation, running payroll for about 5500 staff across 500 sites and the implementation has causedthem a variety of problems, but also identified issues with the Payroll process itself. We are looking for an experienced Payroll consultant that can do an AS-IS analysis of the current, disjointed Payroll process and skills within the team and then designand implement an effective TO-BE solution, so it is fit for purpose for the future growth of the business.
As well as take responsibility for the current payroll team, you will work closely with the Head of Pay and Rewards, senior leadership team, as well as the workday consultant tasked with re-configuring the payroll system.
To be suitable for the role you must have previous experience of leading complex payroll functions, have re-designed and implemented new payroll processes (ideally in other PE backed, acquisitive businesses) as well as upskilling and re-positioning teams.
