**We are recruiting**15**SEND Short Breaks Personal Assistants (PAs) to work over the summer holidays (Six weeks - Fixed term 28th July to 5th September 2025)**

**Working Hours & Flexibility**:Flexible working patterns available - applicants can identify their own hours based on availability.**

SEND Short Breaks Personal Assistants (PAs) will support children and young people (aged 4-25) with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across various SEND Short Breaks activity providers. PA's will also help children build confidence, develop life skills, and enjoy meaningful social experiences at organised activity sessions.

SEND Short Breaks PA's will also support children in their own homes. PA's will plan and deliver fun, engaging, inclusive activities that promote social interaction, communication, and personal development.

As a SEND Short Breaks PA, you’ll play a vital role in supporting children with complex SEND needs to access Short Breaks activities, both at organised activity sessions, and in-home support. You’ll help children build confidence, develop life skills, and enjoy meaningful social experiences, while giving parent carers valuable respite.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide 1:1 or 2:1 support to children and young people during SEND Short Breaks holiday activity sessions.
- Provide 1:1 or 2:1 in-home support for children and young people with SEND. Plan and deliver fun, engaging, inclusive activities that promote social interaction, communication, and personal development.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times, following safeguarding and health & safety policies.
- Build positive relationships with families and contribute to a supportive, inclusive environment.
- Work collaboratively with the Short Breaks activity teams, participate in team discussions and debriefs after each activity session.

**Additional information**:
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
