IWS (WH) provides services in all aspects of water hygiene and legionella control including legionella risk assessments into the public sector, utility companies, industrial, commercial and retail customers.

**The Role**:

- Promote safe ways of working at all times
- Supervise a team of Legionella risk assessors, providing leadership, guidance, and support
- Conduct Legionella risk assessments in various premises, including but not limited to industrial, commercial, Health care and residential buildings
- Review and evaluate Legionella risk assessment reports submitted by the team to ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Develop and implement Legionella control and management strategies based on assessment findings and best practices

**What you’ll need**:

- Certification as a Legionella Risk Assessor e.g., City & Guilds, is essential
- In-depth knowledge of Legionella bacteria, associated health risks, and control measures
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Two years of experience in Legionella risk assessment and management (preferred)
- One year in a supervisory or managerial role (preferred)
- Full and valid driving licence
- City & Guilds or NVQ level 2 or higher Plumbing (required)
- ACOP L8, Water Regulations, COSHH and HSAWA (preferred)
- Water Hygiene work history: one year (preferred)
