We are looking to recruit a Senior Catering Assistant to primarily to over see the new catering operation within Flag Fen. Due to the rural location, you will need to be able to drive.

The working pattern will be 5 days out of 7. Weekend work will be included

We are looking for someone with catering experience and proven leadership skills. This role will be mainly based at Flag Fen, Peterborough but there will also be requirement to spend time in other sites (within Peterborough) in a leadership capacity,
- To provide a professional, friendly and efficient service to customers, understanding their needs and requirements
- Provide advice/assistance to ensure the customer receives a prompt service within comfortable surroundings
- Provide, prepare and deliver quality food and beverages
- Ensure products, equipment and furniture are cleaned, maintained and fit for purpose reporting breakages promptly
- Undertake cleaning duties within the catering facility
- Operating the Till System and end of day cashing up routines
- Recording daily takings
- Stock Control
- To demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, committed and flexible attitude towards customers and team members, recognising the importance and benefits of effective team working.
- To actively follow company policies - Food Hygiene, Equal Opportunities; Fire Health & Safety
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
- Food safety catering level 2 or above

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £13.05 per hour

Expected hours: 32.5 per week
