Are you an experienced HR Co-ordinator/Administrator looking for your next step into an HR Advisor role? Or perhaps you're already an HR Advisor but you need a challenge and an opportunity to really enhance your skills? Although this is a fixed term contract for 12 months, as part of the Travis Perkins Group we are always looking to develop great talent and it is possible that this could be a springboard to your next opportunity.
Put your knowledge into action at our Daventry Distribution Centre. Working closely with the HR Business Partner and our Travis Perkins ER Service, you'll provide HR services and critical ER support to our managers.
Covering all aspects of the colleague life cycle, concentrating on: Advising on ER cases, helping to increase line manager HR/ER capability, helping line managers deal with the day to day HR queries and supporting on ad-hoc recruitment activities. This is a critical role at an important time for the business.
**Influencing**
**- **Act as both an influencer and an enabler, you'll be providing operational focused expert advice on a range of ER matters. Your communication and impact will help you win people around to your way of thinking and you'll quickly become a trusted advisor.
**Relationship building** - You'll proactively identify and deliberately develop important relationships across the site and the wider business.
**Supporting** - You'll help managers increase their capability, delivering key people initiatives as part of our people agenda and driving engagement across the site.
**Process Management** - You'll ensure consistency and best practice processes are in place, bringing your own ideas and initiatives to the table to continuously improve and challenge our thinking.
**What you'll bring**
**HR Experience. **In an operational/transactional environment with exposure to ER and some knowledge of employment law (although you will be fully supported)
**Commercial focus. **Your customer minded with a focus on delivery and quality of service
**.**
**Ability to work at pace. **You're agile and able to multi-task and thrive in a busy operational environment.
**Collaborative. **it's fast, it's busy but you know how to get the best out of people and team up to get the job done.
