We are working with a leading IT provider specialising in Cloud, Network and Security recognised as experts in their field by leading clients.
Looking for a Senior NOC Engineer to join their skilled support team as a 2nd line escalation point to ensure technical faults and/or requests are professionally responded to. Perform routine maintenance, monitoring and testing to maintain network integrity.
You will provide day to day management of all network infrastructure and service provision components whilst liaising with internal teams and external partners to hi-light and resolve operational issues and improve services.
**Requirements**:
- Experience working with Cisco, brocade or juniper (CCNA, CCNP or JNCIS equivalent experience)
- Experienced with routing protocols - specifically OSPF and BGP
- Understanding of MPLS in particular VPLS and VLL
- Understand firewall policies set-up including VPN set-up and troubleshooting
- experience within a helpdesk / NOC environment ideally within ISP / Telecoms industry.
