**Overview**

**Duties**
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Manage and train housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to optimise workflow and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Address any guest complaints or concerns promptly, ensuring a satisfactory resolution.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the hotel.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff performance, inventory levels, and maintenance requests.
- Manage an on call rota for housekeeping staff for emergencies

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a housekeeping role within the hotel or hospitality industry is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and health regulations is preferred.

Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
