**Supply Chain Co-ordinator**

If you are working within a sourcing department, we have an opportunity for a Supply chain Co ordinator/Analyst/Buyer to operate in a Manufacturing environment.

**What you’ll deliver to us**:

- Responsible for all transactional indirect purchase orders across the business (from stationary through to services to sub-contract processes)
- Enforcing BOM/Master Data accuracy, NPI and Production readiness.
- Lead the commercial negotiation where applicable, complete strategic tender processes and present to Management, with a recommended business case proposal, supplier sourcing decision and implementation plans
- Ensure all relevant policies & procedures are followed
- An understanding of KPI's and delivering against them
- Generation of status reports covering key performance measurement & business planning activity
- Ownership of spend and achieving / exceeding cost targets
- Identify suitable suppliers and monitoring their performance and competitiveness
- Process orders and ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Work with other internal departments to ensure requirements are understood to enable procurement of parts and assemblies

**What we’re looking for**:

- Qualifications & Experience - Minimum 2 years Procurement experience, ideally within a manufacturing or automotive environment with or working towards MCIPS, but not essential
- Experience of Indirect Purchase Order control and processing, BOM accuracy & Production support.
- Confident in negotiating all aspects of contracts to maximise value
- Working in a cross functional environment
- Experience of purchasing in a low to high volume environment.
- Confident in negotiating price.
- Strong communication skills
- SAP knowledge desirable but full training given
