e are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with around **4 years** of hands-on experience to support and maintain our network infrastructure on a part-time basis. You will handle configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of our LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and security systems, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Configure, monitor, and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco or equivalent)
- Manage LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN services for secure and efficient operations
- Maintain security controls, firewall rules, ACLs, and VPN access
- Conduct periodic network performance checks and capacity planning
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and inventory
- Provide on-call support during agreed hours for urgent issues
- Assist in network upgrades and small-scale projects

**Qualifications**
- **Experience**: 4 years in network engineering or administration
- **Core Skills**:

- **TCP/IP**, VLANs, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
- Firewall management (**Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar**)
- VPN configuration (IPsec/SSL)
- Basic wireless networking (802.11 standards)
- Network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG)
- **Preferred Certifications**:CCNA**, Network+, or equivalent

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £25.00-£30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
