Our client based in Poole has an immediate requirement for an experience Customer Supervisor to join their busy retail and warehouse operation.
The main purpose of the role will require you to have full responsibility for and supervise the Retail Shop, Online Shops, Customer Services and Warehouse. To supervise and lead the teams in those departments to fulfill their roles and responsibilities. Torun the departments to keep good customer service standards and achieve sales targets.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:

- Supervise staff
- Supervise the online shops
- Supervise Social Media sites (Facebook and Instagram)
- Check general procedure for opening and closing the shop is followed
- Supervise regular and continuous stock take of shop and warehouse
- Supervise returns from Suppliers
- Sort reject stock into re-saleable items, re-cycle or reject items
- Supervise the returns and end of line stock in the shop system and online shops
- Supervise the prices and upload of all stock.
- Monitor the distribution of daily tasks
- Supervise and organise the layout and cleaning of the shop.
- Deal with staff and customer complaints
- Issuing refunds or compensation to customers
- Supervise records of orders or correspondence with customers
- Analysing statistics or other data to determine the level of customer service your department is providing
- Meeting with manager to discuss possible improvements to departments
- Identify and provide training needs
- Training staff to deliver a high standard of customer service
- Learning about the organization’s products & keeping up to date with changes.
- Keeping ahead of developments in departments by updating knowledge on current lines.
Applicants must have recent and comprehensive experience in a similar role, experience of administering company social media accounts and staff supervision experience.
This is a permanent position with an immediate start available for the right person. Hours of work are Mon to Thurs 08:30 am till 17:15 pm and Sunday 09:45 am till 16:15 pm. Salary will be commensurate with experience but is expected to be around £24,000 perannum.
