The post-holder for this role will support our 2 flagship brands:

- Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts (CSVPA), a traditional arts school based in Cambridge, UK
- CATS Academy Boston, an international boarding school based in Boston, USA
- Support for our group brand, CGS and our other schools may also be needed.

The post-holder for this role will report to the Creative Lead based in Cambridge, UK. The post-holder for this role will ideally be based in or around Cambridge. We are asking all staff to come into office twice a week. Travel to Boston, USA may also be required for 2 - 4 weeks a year.

Role overview
The post-holder for this role will be a crucial member of the Content and Design Team, responsible for working with the School Marketing Team and Digital Marketing Team to create an engaging and innovative content strategy to demonstrate and better explain the USPs of each school through targeted campaigns and materials.

The post-holder for this role will work with our School Marketing Team to understand each school’s objectives and in response run engaging content-first campaigns to articulate the USPs and nuances of our offering to our audiences. The post-holder will need to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels within our schools to get buy-in and participation in activity to fully convey to our audiences the value of our offering.

Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with members of the marketing and communication teams to create content specific to business needs
- Build positive relationships with school Principals, their Academic Leadership Teams and students to gather content needed for campaigns
- Manage creative agencies and freelancers in aid of producing content
- Take direction and support ideation for marketing priorities from Creative Lead, Head of Marketing and Marketing Director
- Support ideation sessions during campaign and content conception.

Content Management
- Plan and commission the creation of engaging content, from blog posts, social media content, videos, student testimonials, etc.
- Support ad hoc content requests
- Manage the storage of photography and video
- Share planned and published content with our sales team and internal stakeholders.

Content Creation

This role is hands-on in its approach and as such requires the Content Specialist to be involved in content creation process. Responsibilities may include:

- Planning and create engaging social media content
- Writing informative and engaging blog posts and student testimonials
- Building campaign landing pages
- Producing video content for student testimonials, animations, etc
- Re-editing content for social media platforms
- Organising photography for events and social media content
- Engaging key stakeholders to find and create rich stories and content
- Sharing planned and published content with our sales team and internal stakeholders
- Organising webinars
- Proofreading web and print material
- Updating school websites content and copy.

Person Specification
- Experience in delivering successful multi-channel content-focused campaigns
- Ability to produce high quality and engaging content
- Experience in using social media platforms and scheduling tools
- Experience in using CMS and CRM
- Experience in using editing software such as, Premiere Pro
- Experience in filming and photographing high quality content for social media on their phone
- Videography experience would be desirable
- Excellent communication skills, especially the use of appropriate language, correct grammar and spelling
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Effective prioritisation and attention to detail, whilst working to multiple and tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a team and manage their own workload.
