Cover Supervisor - Basildon

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor who is looking to gain experience within schools. This role will involve providing general cover to classes and this type of role can also include working with small groups of pupils or 121 focusingon key ideas to help bridge any gaps in their learning.

**The school are looking for individuals that have**:

- The ability to create an calm learning and teaching environment for all students
- Strong ICT Skills
- Experience working in an education environment would be essential
- A good sense of humour and the ability to get on with up to 30 teenagers at a time
- To be an excellent role model to pupils at all times
- The ability to implement rewards and sanctions in accordance with the behaviour policy of the school

This is a temporary ad hoc role as part of our supply talent pool to support schools with both planned and emergency cover so you'll need to be able to work flexibly, ideally a minimum of 3 days a week.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Experience as a Cover Supervisor or teaching support experience within KS3 & KS4.
- Enhanced DBS
- Demonstrates commitment.
- Be able to travel around the Chelmsford and Braintree area.
