Oracle Cloud Administrator

Sopra Banking Software is currently seeking experienced Oracle Cloud Administrator to join our expanding SaaS and Cloud Services department to provide a key service working within live production environnements.
The role is to provide systems administration on a day-to-day business, alongside project activities to support our customers. These activities include everyday tasks such as troubleshooting issues around system performance monitoring, optimisation, automationactivities/tasks, troubleshooting incidents, database refreshes to software and hardware upgrades.
**Hours of Work**:There are 2 shifts operating Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4pm and 9:30am to 6pm on alternating weeks.
**Oracle Cloud Administrator Requirements**:
- Working experience as an Oracle Cloud Database Administrator
- Strong knowledge/skills in Cloud and related technology - AWS - EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, Cloud Formation
- Oracle DBA skills with 12c/19c in a production environment
- Exposure and working knowledge of Automation tools: Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Puppet, Mcollective
- Experience in Solaris, Linux (OEL, RHEL) and/or Unix, including building, installing, configuring and troubleshooting.
- Experience in Patching, Upgrading and capacity planning for Operating Systems, Databases, Applications Server and Applications.
- Good working knowledge of RMAN, RAC and Data guard along with monitoring and Performance Tuning Databases in a UNIX/Solaris/Linux Environment and Oracle Fusion Middleware/WebLogic Server would be advantageous
- Configuration Management, Enterprise Manager, and understanding of Sarbanes Oxley Compliance
- Any exposure and working knowledge of Systems Monitoring tools would be desirable

- There is a requirement for Out of Hours work at least one weekend per month to meet customer demands around patching, DR testing and project deliveries.
After an initial training period, there will be a requirement to provide out of hours support on a standby rota covering 1 week in every 5. This is to support our 24/7 operations and support to customers
