Sleaford, United Kingdom Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Do you want to be part of a team committed to providing high-quality recovery-focused care and treatment?
Do you want to make a difference to the lives of females experiencing a period of mental health illness?
This is an exciting time to join Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust (LPFT), in a forward-thinking team as a Senior Health Care Support Worker at Ash Villa Female Acute Treatment ward.
**The Role**:
Ash Villa is a 15-bed acute treatment inpatient ward created as part of ambitious plans to expand and develop our services and patient offering in the local Lincolnshire area.
Ash Villa will provide high-quality, specialised treatment and therapy to women with mental health treatment needs who cannot be safely supported by a community-based service.
Under the supervision of a registered nurse, participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of high-quality care within a ward environment, through involvement in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
You will provide high quality, evidence-based, holistic care to patients in line with the Health Care Support Worker Code of Conduct and Trust policies. You will support senior colleagues to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care plans based upon individual patient needs.
The post holder will participate and facilitate creative and meaningful recovery-focused activities with individual patients and in groups.
The role may require the use of physical interventions to manage an individual whose behaviours may cause harm to themselves or others, and where other non-physical interventions, for example, communication, de-escalation, and problem-solving skills, have been unsuccessful.
Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health services and a number of learning disability, autism and social care services in the county of Lincolnshire. Employing around 2,800 staff, and serving a population of over 766,000, our people lie at the heart of everything we do.

This is the time to join and help redesign our services of the future. We offer options for flexible working and provide a wide range of training and promotion opportunities in all professions.
