My client is a large not-for-profit organisation, looking to bolster their team with an interim Procurement Officer on a 3-month temporary basis, with a potential to get extended.

**The main responsibilities of the interim Procurement Officer are**:

- Continuously improving procurement practices across the organisation.
- Supporting the delivery of the annual procurement plan and contributing to policies and procedures.
- Managing complex and strategic local procurement projects to ensure effective delivery in line with legislation and timescales.

**My client is looking for**:

- At least 2 years’ experience of undertaking procurement and commissioning activities.
- At least two years’ experience of using standing orders and financial regulations within a statutory organisation.
- At least two years’ experience of contract management.
- Excellent communication ability and experience in working within a high-pressure environment.

My client can offer a flexible approach to working with the opportunity to work three days a week in the office based in Dudley and the rest worked remotely.
