**About Talamo**
- Talamo is an ed-tech start-up revolutionising how schools support students with neurodiversity. We’ve developed an automated dyslexia and cognitive profiling tool that empowers schools to assess their entire student base quickly and accurately. With a successful launch in September, we’re expanding quickly.
**The Role**
- We’re looking for a driven, creative, and hardworking salesperson to join our small team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in building relationships, is excited about working in education, and wants to play a key role in expanding our footprint in UK schools. You’ll be a pivotal part of our sales team, focusing on converting leads, generating new ones, and nurturing relationships to close mid-sized deals. You’ll work closely with our founders and other team members.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales Strategy**:Contribute to shaping and refining our sales strategy as the role grows and evolves (particularly as this grows outside of the UK).
- **Prospecting**:Identifying and reaching out to potential clients to generate leads.
- **Qualifying Leads**:Assessing leads to determine their potential as profitable customers.
- **Product Demos**:Delivering compelling product demonstrations and presentations to clients.
- **Handling Objections**:Addressing customer concerns and objections effectively to facilitate a sale.
- **Negotiating Contracts**:Engaging in negotiations to close deals while ensuring mutual benefit for both parties.
- **Following Up**:Regularly checking in with clients after initial contact to nurture the relationship and address any issues.
- **Reporting and Forecasting**:Tracking sales activities and reporting results to management while forecasting future sales.
**Key Requirements**
- 3+ years in a sales team, and a proven track record of regularly hitting targets.
- Interest in education.
- Strong relationship-building, creativity, and initiative.
- Hardworking and eager to grow in a role that will expand in scope over time.
- Comfortable using HubSpot or similar CRM systems for pipeline management.
- Confident in delivering compelling demos and presentations to potential clients.
- Able to work in a hybrid capacity (with occasional in-person meetings or events).

Pay: £31,149.00-£38,000.00 per year
