Due to the retirement of the current post holder we are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic, well-qualified and excellent teacher as SENDCo to lead our Learning Support team at Woolmer Hill School and work with our incredible students and staff, from September 2025. This role involves working in close partnership with parents and carers and school staff. The role will also involve liaison with a wide range of external professionals. We are looking for someone who is passionately committed to inclusive education and who will ensure that all our students are able to access the whole curriculum, make excellent progress and have their individual needs met.

We are looking for either a fully qualified and experienced SENDCo, or a well-qualified and experienced teacher who is currently on their journey to be fully qualified or keen to undertake the necessary qualifications. We are looking for someone who can think strategically and creatively and who is able continue to drive our provision forwards and further develop our excellent Learning Support team.

Woolmer Hill School is an 11-16 Academy of 900 students, situated in a fantastic location on the outskirts of Haslemere. Haslemere lies in Surrey, on the border with Hampshire and West Sussex and we have excellent road and rail links to neighbouring counties. We are situated just 3 minutes’ drive off the main A3 and we are also fortunate to have a train station in Haslemere on the mainline from Portsmouth to London Waterloo. This makes us very accessible from the South Coast or outer London areas by train or car.
