**_About the Department_**
The Student Hub team sits within the Registry team which is part of the Directorate of Student and Academic Services (SAS) which has a vision to provide holistic service, support and educative experience to all students and researchers from induction, to student engagement and progression, leading to successful graduate outcomes. The Directorate will aim to provide high-level administrative support, advice and guidance to students, researchers and academic colleagues, so they receive expert, timely and accessible support across a wide range of activities.

**_About you_**
We are looking for new members of the team who love to help students You love to make things easier for students, to solve problems, and to help students succeed. You are able to support people when they are uncertain, stressed, upset, and/or confused, and can provide them with clarity on their next steps. Whether the student in front of you has a simple query or a complex one, you will be able to calmly, efficiently and inclusively guide them to the answers they need, so they can go back to focusing on their studies.

**_About the role_**
Under the supervision of the Student Hub Manager, the role holder will contribute to a positive student experience by providing clear information to all students including both on-campus and distance learning, and reaching fair mitigating circumstances decisions in line with our policies and regulations. They will ensure the Hub team responds promptly and appropriately to all in person, virtual and phone queries from students and guests of the School, signposting effectively to other teams as needed. They will also contribute to improvements to the Student Information Desk and FAQs to help students find information and self-solve some queries.
