The Medrescue Group is a Paramedic led ambulance service, we work in partnership with the NHS, local authority, CCGs and private healthcare providers.

We are a well established service operating UK wide. We are looking to recruit a Mental Health Transport Co-ordinator to support our specialty ambulance crews and act as the first point of contact for all customers, new clients and any other business contacts.

This is an pivotal role within our Operations team and an excellent opportunity for the right individual to make a positive impact to the business supporting this service, and ensuring we provide patient centred care.

For this role, you will need to have experience of call handling with a professional, calm and reassured manner. You will answer incoming calls, complete booking risk assessments (full training will be provided) in line with our policy and procedures. This is a busy role where you will need to manage requests for urgent transport for the same day, the following day or even a few weeks ahead. You’ll need to be confident scheduling and dispatching the appropriate resources in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

- Call Handling and bookings patient journey
- Providing quotes for ad hoc journey
- Planning & dispatching the Ambulance Crews
- Act as the first point of contact for customers
- Collating audit data and service reports
- Reporting/ recording incidents in line with company procedures.

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

- Newbury: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
